We see lots of happy faces and hear "This is the best experience we have ever had at Zapata's" That's what we want to hear! OK, we still make a few mistakes now and then but I guarantee our friendly staff is determined to serve you right. Read below for highlights from the past month...
Moving right along. What's up with this 'Pimp and Hoe' party on Saturday? I mean what the heck is going on at Zapata's? OK, originally, I planned to organise one of my fabulous 'Obama Pajama' parties. I got my silk dragon bathrobe pressed and ready for action. But then someone said common man, that's so 2008. When was the last time you wore that Mac Daddy Suit or Shuga Mama Dress?

Summer Solstice and Farewell Party, June 20th, 9pm on...
We're celebrating the longest day of the year in style. For all those lucky B@$#@rds, I mean good friends, who are heading off on vacations for the Summer. And a grand send off for all the good people finishing their contracts and heading home. We're going to miss you but we're not done yet. Let's make this a party to remember. We'll have specials etc. but for all you special people -you know who you are- come on over for that special Mikey Mike treatment.

Zapata's, Proud Sponsors of the SSV
The Finnish athletics and social team "SSV" (freely translated: "the Suzhou Couch Potatoe's Brotherhood - Finns only") participated in the 2009 Shanghai Open 2009 Floorball tournament in May. In this very competitive tournament where teams came from all over China, SSV fought their way to a bronze medal. Well done guys!
"You can often meet the team at Zapatas terrace on Saturdays at around 5pm where they gather for their strategy and mismanagement meeting after their weekly workout. We enjoy the good drinks and food served by the friendly staff in the relaxed atmosphere." Cheers for that Ville
They usually play Floorball but also compete in Football, Golf and 'other' competitions. Kippis!!
Lia’s “Sweet 17” Birthday Party
Lia’s B-day party had everyone dressed in white for this bash. Beer and Margaritas were flowing all night long complements of hosts Lia and her husband Veikko.
And a round of “Black Forest Cake” shots to toast Lia's special day.
Zapata's First Summer BBQ a Big Hit
Thank you Dragonfly for those soothing free massages. Great job Austin Morris helping to organise ( their press release here) . And cheers to all those Shanghai friends who made a special trip out to see us.
